Even though it was busy El Lago was able to seat all 9 of us right away. Not to mention the food was wonderful and staff was outstanding. You wont be disappointed

By far the best Mexican food we've eaten in a long time. Prices are a bit high but for a treat it's well worth the money. The service is excellent too. Will definitely go again.

Great food, they don't skimp tacos filled with meat not lettuce and tomatoes like so many. Only $1 on Tuesdays. Margaritas for $1.99 same day. My wife got the fajitas and the portions were huge and delicious. This is a favorite of ours!!!0

I had Cazuela 1, and it was delicious! Looking forward to dining here again, very impressed with the food, drinks, and service.

Great food and service! A homey and family friendly place. The prices are very reasonable. It's a little bit of a drive, depending on where you are staying in Branson. It's definitely worth it though.

It was very dirt from the table the chairs and even the silverware and cups. I was hesitant to drink out of my water cup with food left over on it and wasn't cleaned well. The food was okay Not up to par. Kinda scary that we ordered and less than 3 minutes later our food was brought out it didn't seem all that fresh. Price is very reasonable and had amazing customer service. I would go back but was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. Especially the bathrooms...

Stopped here for lunch while spending a weekend in Reeds Spring and what a great lunch stop! The house margaritas were excellent! The homemade chips were light and crispy and were perfect with the Mezcal dip (refried beans with ground beef and queso). Social distancing was well executed and all the staff wore face masks and gloves! And prices were quite reasonable!

Good food and friendly service, which is hard to find sometimes in a tourist town. Before you order drinks make sure you ask about specials. Margarita specials change regularly and there are some pretty good deals if you ask. COVID-19: masks are not required for guests at this time but are for staff. Most seating is in high-back booths that offer a barrier between different parties. My group ate outside and there is a ton of seating indoors and out.Food was standard. We had fajitas for 2 which was reasonably priced at $20. Food showed up like 20 seconds after we ordered it. How the heck do they do that? Overall this is a great place for a quick lunch or dinner. It gets 5 stars for efficiency and friendliness.

So good. Never dissapointed when we go. They are super fast also. Great salsa; made there, so different every time, but always delicious...extra garlicy this time. Great, thin, crisp chips. Amazing lunch specials. We thought it would take a while to be seated this time because the entrance was full, but we got a table quickly. Again...so good!

Was on a road trip in Branson with my family and found this place by searching online. The food was amazing! The service and overall experience exceeded my expectations. My family enjoyed the dinner so much and said they would love to go back. Next time I'm in town we will definitely be eating there again. The atmosphere and all was great. I wish we had a place like this in my area. Can't wait to have dinner there again!

I love how patient and friendly all the staff is with constant, out of town, large or small families. The food is fantastic also!!!

I had the lunch Cali entridido or something. Super good! Big portions of guac, sour cream and pico came w it. Fairly priced as well. Good stuff. I'd definitely go back to try other things too.

El Lago is a frequent stop for myself and a couple other friends. Great food, great price and great service. You can't ask for anything else. Taco Tuesday is da bomb!

Food was good but they had their kids running around screaming and yelling at the top of their lungs, running up and down the ros and crawling under the tables, we could not enjoy our meal. 5 bites in we got to go boxes and left. Not professional at all. Recommend food to go.

This is now one of my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food was excellent and I've got to go back many times to try out all the new great-looking and probably great-tasting Foods. The staff works so hard and fast. I could never keep up with the type of work they do. Amazing!

This place has AMAZING food! The staff are very nice. They did a FANTASTIC job during the COVID recommendations and provided us a comfortable spot where we wanted (we wanted to sit outside). There was a strong cleaner smell inside so we know they are cleaning regularly. Staff all wore masks correctly. We had great service. Our drinks were always full!

This place was amazing even though this Covid 19 they made it feel so pleasent and joyful our drinks were always filled and the food tasted amazing! If your hungry this is the place to go!! If your in the area you have to try it👍

We just ate here for the first time and had the Alambro plate. They were so fast that we had our food before we even finished our basket of chips and salsa. From now on I am going to expect all chicken dishes to have bacon with them because it was amazing!

The experience was amazing! The food, the service, the Margaritas, it was definitely worth it. We were immediately seated and didn’t have to wait long for our food at all. They even sang my sister a happy birthday song and gave her a free dessert. Amazing time and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Branson!

Their food was absolutely incredible! The white queso was up on top with the best I’ve ever had! The salsa was delicious as well! We will definitely visit there again next time we come to town! I’d recommend over and over again!

I'm local, so great service & by that I mean they are always fast, always friendly, the salsa is good, the chips are fresh. And the menu very imaginative. Try the fajitas Suiza.If they ever decide to include a tasty Molcaheti I'll bump my rating to 5 stars.

Great food and service. Party of 10, 30 tacos 7 sides and 12 margaritas $82. Can not beat that!

Went on a Tuesday for the $1 tacos. Since this is Branson it was a really great price. The restaurant was packed but our party of 15 was seated surprisingly quickly. The service was OK but I would chalk that up to how busy the restaurant was. I ordered a burrito and a few tacos for good measure. The food came out at different times and we were missing two orders of tacos. Again, more than likely due to the volume of customers. The burrito was good but the tacos were probably what you would expect for a dollar. Tex-mex is not my favorite and would definitely prefer authentic street tacos.

I Just moved up here from Texas. I asked a local citizen where the best Mexican restaurant was they recommended they said this was it. well I ordered to go and got home to eat it but it was all great. My family and I eat out one rare occasion and we have been sick all week long. Went to the doctor yesterday to find out that I have food poisoning. worst 60.00 dollars that I've spent in a long time. order was done in a timely fashion and the wait wasn't long. I'll give them 2 stars for it. alone

Absolutely delicious! Yum! We were sat right away as a family of 7. It was incredibly busy and the servers did wonderful.

Wouldn't recommend any of their drinks, none of them taste great. The food is usually pretty good and is a very fair price.

Ordinary mexican restaurant. If you are in Branson downtown, this is too far for you. Food are good.

Taco Tuesday's are a must authentic Mexican cuisine and don't forget the margaritas. Family atmosphere and reasonable pricing. Awesome service and friendly staff.

We saw the billboards coming into town & Mexican food sounded great. Wasn't sure what to expect, but reviews were good, so we decided to give it a try.Glad we did. Great family restaurant, to include super fast service (our orders were ready with 6-8 minutes). The salsa was not my favorite, but the homemade chips were awesome. All six of us enjoyed our meals and the portions were enough to fill our hollow legged 21 year old son. Enjoy.

The Branson strip was packed....So we headed to Branson West to find some Mexican out by the lake. Stumbled on El Lago and what a find Seated quickly and the chips and salsa never stopped comingLoved the thin and crispy chips. Food was fantastic. I loved my sangria Margarita. They have giant 32 oz draft beers.Our friends are locals and agree it was wonderful. Such great service! What a wonderful find and night.

The Food is wonderful and fresh and Fast....the wait staff is attentive and the prices are very reasonable.

All of the employees were wearing masks and us patrons were spread out. Our waiter was attentive and our food was very good. We were glad to be able to take advantage of a margarita special- 27 oz for $6.99.

Quality food. Lots to choose from, fair and reasonable price. Definately would recommend!
